End User License Agreement · Effective July 11, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sirens mobile application (“Sirens,” “the app”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sirens for your own personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (which applies to the extent it is not inconsistent with these Terms).
Sirens aggregates and displays public information from third-party sources, including county public-safety dispatch feeds, the U.S. National Weather Service, Apple Weather, and open data portals. This information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, approximate, or unavailable. It is provided for general awareness only. Sirens does not create, verify, or control this information and is not responsible for it.
Sirens is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any county, municipality, police, fire, EMS, emergency-services agency, or government body.
You agree not to: (a) use the app for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with any emergency response; (b) use the information to harass, endanger, or harm any person; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the app or its data except as permitted by law; or (d) use the app in any way that violates the rights of others.
If you enable notifications, you choose a watch area and consent to receiving alerts about incidents matching it. Notifications may be delayed or missed and must not be relied upon. Use of location is described in our Privacy Policy.
THE APP AND ALL INFORMATION ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER OF SIRENS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OR INJURY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP OR ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.
We may update the app or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the app or any data source at any time without notice.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
